Operational Order 6087-0100 / Operation Lunatic
Time Zone Used Throughout Operational Order: Romeo (EST)
References: N/A
Task Organization
4th Infantry Division
4th CAB Aviation Detachment
  1. Situation: Following the successful invasion and overthrowing of the Takistani Government, Islamic State Forces and local insurgents took advantage of the surrounding chaos and anarchy to surmount an effective resistance to the United States Occupation. These forces have intermingled with the Civilian Populace and have been conducting Guerilla Warfare on remaining US Forces in the Region. As the United States faces more public opposition to the war effort and begins to withdraw forces present in the initial invasion, 4th Infantry Division, 1st Platoon “Warriors” will be deployed as an occupying force.
    1. Enemy Forces: Islamic State of Takistan Forces (ISTF) are in the region and maintain a strong hold with an undetermined amount of fighters. These fighters are primarily armed with mostly Soviet arms but also have some captured NATO arms, vehicles, and stationary guns. The region has armor assets however the exact number of these assets is unknown, they also maintain a large amount of civilian vehicles that have been converted for military purposes. The Enemy has increased their use of Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) attacks and have also introduced the Vehicle borne Improvised Explosives Devices (VBIED), they also employ notable amounts of indirect fire by unknown locations, however it is believed they are using civilians as spotters.  .
    1. Friendly Forces: Known friendly forces at this time are the 4th Infantry Division and small local militia forces.
  1. Mission: The 4th Infantry Division will deploy to a captured airfield being used as a Forward Operating Base FOB Hotel California and conduct  seize the initiative operations in the Takistan region. Key points of the mission are to expel the Islamic State of Takistan Forces (ISTF) from the region and all civilian population centers, assist with peacekeeping operations, win the hearts and minds of the local populace, and train local militia and police forces. The Fourth  Infantry Division will interact with the civilian population and provide them humanitarian aid as needed to establish good relations throughout the region. They will also exploit the willingness of locals to gain intelligence of known enemy positions and fortifications. Translators will be needed at all times.

This server is the fruit of a long time labor by myself and WOC T.Bacoon. It is based on a previous mission I had created for another unit. The premise of this is to provide a higher than usual level of realism that will be open 24/7. It's meant to emulate life on a deployment without the consistent combat. There will always be vehicles in need of repair, there will always need to be reorganization of ammunition of supplies. There will be supplys needed to be unloaded from the supply planes.

There will be patrols we set out on where we will encounter no contact, where our translators gather intel and perform reconnaisance. There will be civillians that have medical emergencies that we need to evacuate only to find out that it was staged as an ambush.

The base will come after large scale, and small scale assaults where our soldiers can be on watch and alert everyone to get on to defend the base.

The debut of this server will be TODAY 7/12/. I will be giving the initial briefing at 19:30 EST with the server going live at 20:00. If possible, I would like to get all team leaders and squad leaders available in order to brief them on the standing rules and orders for this server.  The one thing that I ask is that you treat this with the same seriousness that you would treat your training and Sunday FTXS.

Please let me know here if you have any questions or if you plan to attend. WE WILL BE USING THE STANDARD MODPACK.

Just to clarify this is not an official 4th ID operation. That being said I can't wait to hop on and play.
