Company Billet Expression of Interest (EOI) - 09/01/22

All,

Due to the recent influx of recruits and our slow but steady expansion, we are looking to fill some current positions that remain vacant:
  • Scout Section
    • 2x Scout
    • 1x Vehicle Commander
  • Platoon HQ
    • 1x Platoon RTO
  • Aviation Detachment
    • 2x Pilot
  • FIST
    • 1x Forward Observer
Transfers into this role will be done via assessing potential candidates for suitability after we have collated the respective expressions of interest and if successful the nominated soldiers will be contact to begin the transfer process. All of these roles will either provide a unique opportunity beyond what you would undertake in a traditional infantry billet in the platoon, with some providing a basis for rapid advancement, specialised training and promotion opportunities into the NCO Corps

Nomination Requirements
Scouts
  • The scout section performs reconnaissance, screening, counter reconnaissance, hunter-killer operations, and security operations for the company. They act as the Company's reconnaissance element.
  • Due to they're role they deploy at earlier times to the rest of the company, starting their preperations @ 1330 ET, and deploying by 1430 ET.
  • Scout drills occur @ 1430 ET on Saturdays.
Requiremements
  • Private Second Class+
  • One (1) Month Time in Service (Waiver Obtainable)
  • Vehicle Commander requires Specialist or above

Platoon RTO
  • Serves as the radio telephone operator of an infantry platoon. They maintain the critical link between the company, platoon and other assets. They receive, processe, disseminate, and track critical information in a timely and accurate manner, record all actions of the platoon, updates charts and overlays, takes spot reports, messages, and relays messages and is responsible for taking immediate action upon receipt of Commander's Critical Information Requirements (CCIR) or Essential Elements of Friendly Information (EEFI).
Requiremements
  • Private First Class+
  • No Article 15's in the past 2 months
  • 60%+ Attendance (Past 2 Months)
  • High level of verbal and written english

Pilot
  • Serves as a fixed wing pilot within the Aviation Detachment. They will recieve a commission and be afforded the opportunity to specialise in the future including qualifying on a variety of airframes and the potential for further specialised roles.
Requiremements
  • Private First Class+
  • No Article 15's in the past 3 months
  • 60%+ Attendance (Past 2 Months)
  • Must pass the Flight Barrier Entry Test (FBET)

Forward Observer
  • Serves as a Joint Fires Support Specialist providing accurate joint fires to the company. This includes the utilisation of Mortars, Artillery, Naval Gunfire, Rockets and Close Combat Attack (Rotary). FO's will potentially be required to join Operations 30 minutes early than the rest of the unit. Any soldier signing up to this must acknowledge that if they are above the rank of E-4 Corporal they will take a non-punitive demotion to Corporal upon assignment to the element. Upward promotion from there will be dependant on the successful completion of all JFO related courses.

  • Specialist+
  • No Article 15's in the past 3 months
  • 60%+ Attendance (Past 2 Months)
  • Willingness to go through the Joint Fires Observer Pipeline
